MediaTek’s newly-announced Helio G200 will make its debut soon – the Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ will be the first phone to use the new chip. The chipsets for the other Spark 40 series members have not been confirmed yet. Tecno is promising a 10% performance improvement over the G100, getting 470,000 points on AnTuTu. The new chip boosts the clock speed of the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU to 1.1GHz (up from 1.0GHz on the G99 and G100). Additionally, the Spark 40 Pro+ will have customized super resolution algorithms that will render graphics at 1.5K. The G100 was used in phones like the Spark 30 Pro and Camon...

The Snapdragon 730G proved to be a popular chip for mid-range smartphones and was used in the likes of the Pixel 4a, Poco X2 and Mi Note 10 Pro.
