TikTok's 75-day grace period in which it needed to sell its US operations or get banned would have ended tomorrow, but today US President Donald Trump decided to give the app another 75-day reprieve. In a post on Truth Social, Trump says his administration has been "working very hard on a deal to save TikTok" and "made tremendous progress" - but not enough progress, it seems, for another reprieve not to be needed.
