Pretty early on it was clear that when it comes to foldables, keeping the screen inside is preferable to leaving it out in the open. That was more by necessity, though, the early foldable screens were too fragile to leave them with no protection. As we are waiting for the global iQOO 12 series release, the company announced that it's getting rid of the annoying bloatware with the arrival of Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14. The new version of the software was announced a couple of months ago and even shared a list of devices eligible for the update. Anyone who has used Funtouch OS knows that iQOO likes to include a set of "Hot Apps" and "Hot Games" with its devices out of the box. With Futnouch OS 14 going forward, there won't be any of those. IDC and Counterpoint: 2018 saw first ever smartphone sales decline globally

Last year ended on a down note that smartphone sales were in decline and there is no light in the end of the tunnel.
